## Note on installed upstream sources

This MIT license covers ONLY the scaffolding and install scripts in this
repository. The install scripts fetch external tools from their public
upstream repositories — those tools are subject to their own licenses, which
may differ from MIT.

See `install/upstream-sources.yaml` and `docs/promoted-agents.md` for the
license terms of each installed upstream source.

Known non-MIT upstreams (as of 2026-05-26):

- Trail of Bits skills (`trailofbits/skills`) — CC-BY-SA-4.0 (share-alike)
- Trail of Bits claude-code-config — no LICENSE file (all rights reserved by default)
- Anthropic skills (`anthropics/skills`) — mixed Apache-2.0 + source-available

Do not bundle content from these upstreams into MIT-licensed derivative works
